Rapid Transformational Therapy

​Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) is a novel talking therapy developed by Marisa Peer (therapist, author, speaker, educator) from over 30 years in clinic.  The therapy uses a multitude of different methods combined in a unique way.  With the addition of specific tools devised by Marisa Peer, and incorporating techniques from NLP, CBT, hypnotherapy, psychology to deliver a powerful, quick therapy.

 

RTT gets to the root cause of the issue, working with the client to fully understand it, work through it and release it.  This novel technique really empowers the client to take back control and move on with their life.  With the addition of a personal audio, to cement the changes and allow the new in.

RTT can be used where there is a block or behaviour holding you back.  From phobias, addictions and fears through to mental health issues such as self esteem, low confidence, feelings of not worthy or not enough.

How it works

It’s long been established that we as humans have two aspects to our brains we use all day every day, – the conscious and the subconscious.

The conscious brain is our logical, reactive brain, it’s the part that responds, it’s our actions and our behaviour.

The subconscious brain, keeps us alive (keeps all our body working e.g. makes sure our hearts beat, our lungs and body work) as well as holding all our experiences, memories, thoughts and ideas on how to live in the world.

The two brains work together, we react to situations based on the past events and our perception of them. Now our conscious brain only works about 5% of the time it’s our subconscious brain that runs the show, it determines how you act and react and how you view the situation and how you feel about it, it holds your thoughts and your emotions. Its your blueprint.

In RTT we want to get to the subconscious, the part of you that is determining why you feel and behave how you do. To do this we use hypnotherapy, this allows us to access this part of the brain easily and achieve the ‘ah ha’ moments, the root cause of the issues or behaviours.

Hypnosis is a totally natural state, and everyone does it, if you’ve ever driven somewhere and not known how you got there, or been totally absorbed in an activity or film, this is hypnosis, it’s a state of internal awareness just like meditation.

This focused attention allows us to uncover the real reason behind the feelings and emotions, and understand them so that they can be changed and you get the change you want. Hypnosis, unlike stage hypnosis is a lovely relaxed state, you are still fully aware of your surroundings, and you are in full control of what you are saying, and you are able to remember everything, all you have to do is relax and allow.

The sessions take about 2 hours and I guide you through the process. This is a fantastic time to allow your body to relax and recharge, allowing your nervous system to switch off, and to enjoy this time out for yourself.

So what areas does RTT work on?

 

Anywhere where you have beliefs, blocks or behaviours you want to change. This can be anything from addictions, phobias, fears, through to lack of self esteem, confidence and depression, body issues (anorexia, bulimia, weight issues), stress and memory, anywhere you feel you are holding yourself back or not rising to your full potential. As well as enhancing performance, the uses of this method are endless, which is why I love it so much. I’ve also seen great results in chronic pain and some chronic physical issues.  Or to enhance performance, to release blocks or areas you feel are holding you back.

How many sessions will I need?

Every one is different and unique.  We work on one issue at a time as this is the best way for your brain to be focused.   We may feel that we have lots of areas we need to work on, but what often happens is that many different behaviours or feelings are underpinned by the same issue.  So releasing the one issue also released up many other areas in our life.  In one session you will come to a greater understanding and the root cause of why this is showing up in our life.  From this place of understanding change can then happen.  It usually takes 1-3 sessions per issue. 

 

What happens in a session?

Sessions are performed either face to face or via Zoom.  You will enter a lovely state of relaxation and we will use your own brain to uncover the root cause of your issue.  You will be talking to me the whole time so still be fully aware.
